Good care keeps colour, shape, print, and embroidery looking right for longer. Always follow the sewn-in care label and any product-specific instructions first.
Printed apparel
- Turn the garment inside out before washing.
- Wash with similar colours on a cool, gentle cycle.
- Use a mild detergent and avoid bleach.
- Do not overload the machine or leave a damp garment bunched up.
- Air dry where possible. High dryer heat can shorten the life of fabric and decoration.
- If ironing is allowed by the care label, iron inside out on a low setting. Do not place the iron directly on printed artwork.
Embroidered apparel
- Close zips and hook-and-loop fasteners on other items before washing so they cannot catch the embroidery.
- Turn the garment inside out and use a laundry bag for extra protection when practical.
- Do not pull loose thread ends. Contact us if an embroidered area develops a fault.
- Never press a hot iron directly onto embroidery.
Embroidered patches
Check the product page for the backing and attachment method. Remove detachable patches before washing the garment or bag whenever possible. Spot clean gently with cool water and mild soap, then reshape and air dry. Do not wring, tumble dry, bleach, or iron directly over embroidery or hook-and-loop backing.
Keep the shape
Reshape garments while damp and dry them away from strong direct heat. Store them clean and fully dry. Fold heavier knitwear and sweatshirts if hanging would stretch the shoulders.
One product can be different
Materials and decoration methods can vary. If the product page or sewn-in label gives different instructions, follow those instructions. For care questions, email fieldoath@gmail.com with the product name and a clear photo of the care label.
